Benton- Michael James Oldani, 69, of Benton died Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 11:10 PM at his residence. Michael was born on January 11, 1955 in Herrin to Guido Joseph and Sarah Elizabeth (Cantrell) Oldani. He worked several years at General Dynamics where he was a shift supervisor for overnights prior to his retirement. He rode motorcycles in his younger years and he liked listening to classic rock and watch old movies. He enjoyed photography and tinkering with various projects around his house and garage. He was Christian. Survivors include his three sons- Logan Oldani and wife Sierra of Herrin and Josh Oldani and Jake Oldani of Harrisburg; two grandchildren- Joseph Oldani and Mila Oldani and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son- Connor Oldani. He will be cremated and private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial arrangements were entrusted to McCluskie- Miller Funeral Home in Herrin.
