Colp- Chester Allen Hale, 51, of Colp, passed away at 6:51 PM, Monday, May 26, 2023 at a residence in Colp.

Chester was born on November 18, 1971 in Peoria, IL to Jerry and Joyce (Pine) Hale.

He worked for himself as a handyman/roofer.  He loved spending time outdoors tending to horses and going to rodeos.  He enjoyed listening to classic rock and spending time with his family and friends.

Chester is survived by his sister- Tammy Cashion of Herrin brother- Phillip Hale of Danville along with many nieces and nephews and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother- Jerry Hale, Jr.

Chester's wishes were to be cremated and a celebration of his life with family and friends will be held later.  Memorial services were entrusted to McCluskie-Miller Funeral Services in Herrin.
